He’s recently asked me if he can ejaculate in me

My "friend" is 44 and I am 36. We are both professionals and have no children. He’s recently asked me if he can ejaculate in me. Now, he is concerned about pregnancy because right after he asked, he wanted to know if I was on birth control now. Then we started doing an internet search on the best time not to get pregnant. I guess I’m confused because he’s old enough to know that if there is sex without protection there is always the possibility of pregnancy. So, why would someone want to take that sort of risk?Keep in mind, that I’ve alluded to the fact that I want a child. I’m trying to figure out is he not saying what he means and he doesn’t mean what he says?
ANSWER
It sounds like you both have some clarification to do about sex, pregnancy and birth control. Perhaps one or both of you are embarrassed talking about these issues, but hello. The stakes are far too high to leave these matters to chance. Sit down together and reach a clear understanding about what each of you wants in this relationship regarding sex, pregnancy and birth control, then act accordingly.
