Actually in May I gave birth to a baby. After that my period was regular, but now two months passed and I missed my period. I did a pregnancy test and it was negative but my mother says sometimes it happens like this, so I am really worried. What do you think?
ANSWER
You can miss your period for a number of reasons other than pregnancy.
First, are you breastfeeding your baby? Often women who breastfeed don’t have regular periods.
Second, are you physically or emotionally stressed? Extreme exercise or physical exertion or emotional turmoil can cause women to miss periods.
The only way to know for sure if you are pregnant or not is to consult a doctor.
