Face to face positions with similar body parts facing or touching (mouths kissing, hearts together, hands linked) encourage emotional union and circulation of hot sexual energy. In these positions the sexual/spiritual energy builds more slowly, compared with positions that bring together opposite parts of the body. Use face to face positions when you want to open your hearts to deep connection, or when you wish to focus attention on circulating hot sexual energy between you, rather than continue to build to a higher sexual charge.

“Sitting face to face in bed, her breasts pressed tight against your chest, let each of you lock heels behind the other’s waist, and lean back clasping one another’s wrists.”
